A gutsy win last saturday by the Seniors in a game that saw us totally in control to a game that was rapidly slipping away. But we had quite a few boys do special things in the final quarter to regain the initiative and take the points. None better than Matt Greig’s effort that saw him depart in an Ambulance. To have persons jeering him when he was obviously in great difficulty was a disgrace. We appreciated the Norwood President’s apology. The Craig Coghlan Award went to Daniel Mendes from Tom Carmody, Ryan Mullett, Dean Millhouse, James Orr, Tim Johnson and Robbie Ross. Great to have Chris Knights help out with the awards. We love seeing him when the Crows are in town. The Reserves were slow starters but got the job done in style. The Perry Fletcher Award was won by Alex Bull for an outstanding game. Other best were Scotty Cameron, Ryan Humphrey, James McLure, Lachlan McKernan and Anthony Chiodo. The Colts led for most of the game but not when it counted. The Elite Appliances Award went to Paul White followed by , Lachlan Johns, Andy Hackett, Jesse Gannon, Nick Mendes and Bryce. O’Hara. SOCIAL :- The recently cancelled Sportsnight will now be on Wed. 20th July at the Karralyka Centre, E.Ringwood. With the same fabulous panel of Brian Taylor, James Brayshaw and Billy Brownless.
