Under 17
Euroa 29 United 81
Despite a lopsided score, the young Under 17 girls played a sensational game against top-of-the-table United. While it was hard to stop United’s big goalers, our girls kept hitting the scoreboard and played some really great netball. They are putting into play many of the team strategies to great effect against even the best opposition, which is really pleasing for themselves, their coaches and the wider Club – well done girls! Best Players, Illyah Reid, Ashley Allen and Michelle Jessor

Euroa and Shepparton United began the game going goal for goal with some quality passages of play from both teams. Kali Frost fed goalers Deanne Tuppen and Laura Emanuelli well and had great defensive pressure, causing United to make mistakes on transition. Unfortunately Euroa also made a few errors, causing the margin to blow out a little by half time. Euroa were able to peg the margin back in the third quarter through some great defensive work from Katie Parkes in her 1st A Grade game, but United scored some unanswered goals to go ahead again going into the last quarter. Euroa ran out of legs in the last, eventually going down by 13 goals. Best players- Deanne Tuppen, Katie Parkes and Laura Emanuelli
