First Grade
The Demons were never in the hunt has they were held goalless for three quarters against the rampaging Ainslie on Saturday afternoon.
Ainslie simply out muscled and out classed the Demons on an afternoon to forget the less experienced Eastlake side.

Alex Wilson played well down despite the amount of ball coming into the Ainslie forward line having first lining up against Hayden Armstrong and then later in the match opposing Nick Salter who finished with five goals.
Ciaran O’Rourke finished his season as he played right throughout the year working tirelessly through the midfield alongside Harry Bryant.
Ash Moloney chipped in with three last quarter goals however the Demons skill execution lacked once the ball went into their forward line.
With this, Coach Dan Ryall will look to build on the steps taken forward over the 2016 season with a number of players gaining experience at senior level throughout the season.

Second Grade
The 2’s were up always going to be up against it as they took on league leaders Ainslie in their final game for the season.
Despite their lack of intent, the Demons skill execution cost them dearly as Ainslie took full advantage of the Demons turnovers through the midfield to score on each occasion.
Tim Mead worked hard all day through the midfield to be the only standout for the Demons in a disappointing finish to the season whilst Stephen James played his best game for the season.
Guy Gillespie had a hard fought battle in the ruck with Billy Muir whilst Alex Godfrey pinched hit up forward whilst working through the midfield also.
Similar to First Grade, there was plenty to take out of the season for the 2’s whilst continual skills under pressure will no doubt be a key component during the pre –season for 2017.

Rising Stars
The Rising Stars failed to capitalize on the strong first quarter before Ainslie took over in the second quarter and regained the ascendancy running out eventual winners by 28 points.
The loss made even worse as the Demons lost second place on the ladder to Queanbeyan losing a vital double chance as they now face a cut throat elimination final against Marist next Sunday.
The Demons started well early matching the more physical Ainslie unit with the Demons to put in a consistent four quarter effort. Michael Vardos played his best match of the season providing plenty of run off half back as they Demons unable to penetrate the Tricolours half back line.
Riley Budd and Sam Burge worked overtime to get the Demons back into the match after half time and despite getting to within three goals at one stage in the last quarter, Ainslie kicked away in the final minutes of the match.

Plenty to work on for the young Demons this week on the track before their clash against Marist on Sunday at Queanbeyan.
