Energy Sign US Import Jasmine Hunt

Latrobe City Energy are pleased to announce the signing of US import Jasmine Hunt who in 2015 graduated from Arkansas State University . Hunt, one of three players at ASU to average in double-figures in 2014/15 had extremely impressive stats in her final year with 11.1 points per game, started in all 35 of ASU contests, set career highs in points scored, minutes played, rebounds, free throw percentage and field goal percentage.

Coach Andrew Harlow said:  "Having an all round athlete to compliment the 2016 Energy women's team will be a huge advantage going in to the BIg V season next March. “Hunt is a genuine 6ft 2in power forward who will be exciting to watch. She will add strength, size and experience to our team.  Hunt is a player that we are certain the Gippsland and wider basketball community will embrace, enjoy watching and bring a great deal skill and enthusiasm to our local base of athletes”

Latrobe City Energy president Trevor Henry said “We're incredibly excited to have secured Jasmine for the 2016 big v season. Jasmine comes highly credentialed and will add scoring and rebounding to compliment our current crop of senior players, as well as offering experience to our emerging young athletes”
