Good morning, good afternoon or good night as Trueman said, For awareness the AFL Masters Townville have progressed well this year. We had to commence the process to restore club equipment as a result from the severe weather event resulting in flood damage in Jan-Feb 2019. We have some way to complete the last phase, but are in a good position. Within the wider region we have embraced a collaborate approach to promote and support AFL Masters.

Support and Expression of Interest As we lead towards the AFL Masters National Carnival that is hosted in Townsville again this year, after a very successful 2012 carnival. We are asking for expressions of interest to develop our skills further. If I can request wider broadcast of this information through you networks it would be most appreciated.
Some ideas we would like you to consider to promote health / wellbeing development and maintain a focus with development towards the AFL Masters National Carnival: •AFL 9’s training/games competition on Friday nights. Base idea, pool of players and mix teams each week to promote inclusiveness and run teams dependant on numbers. Potential for a sponsor if sufficient interest is found. •Second training/game related activity during a week night to bolster our general Sunday training that is 0945 for 1000 start at one of the ovals either Neil French, Muldoon or RMS. •Activities coordinated by AFL Masters; however, more than happy for anyone who would like to assist in this program.
•As AFL Masters are a non profit organisation with very limited income streams, we request confirmation of opportunities to use ovals/grounds. We intend to be open for all and will consider all options. To be part of the program and ensure club governance we have modest registration fees: Registration Costs: •AFL Masters Player $75 •Social member $20 •Registered AFL and financial Player local Seniors/Women’s $20 (note this would require a match day permit to play sanctioned games) •Members’ who are under financial strain, please discuss with the club and we can assist case by case. Club Bank: •BSB – 633 000 •Account – 1229 29375 •Name - AFL Masters Townsville (Please note your name on you payment) Registrations AFL Masters Townsville or your respective club as appropriate: All players are required to be registered for all sanctioned games. Please ensure you provide ample time for this process to reduce any unnecessary strain on our support staff. Lets all be part of the development of AFL Masters in any way we can as we progress towards the AFL National Carnival. If you can assist in any way we would love to hear from you and be part of our journey in a year of resilience.
