The AFL Masters Townville “All Finanz Group” Carnival on the 05 May 19 was another great event for Masters this year. Teams from Airlie Beach, Cairns, Charters Towers and Townsville were able to display their own teams colours. Due to the numbers this required many to support each team and this was a great positive on the day helping each other out. We had 12 a side, with a bench if lucky. A total of five games and a final. All games were played in the appropriate Masters Spirit and a great final between Cairns and Airlie, with their additions from other teams. In the end the Airlie Beach team was able to take a late lead for a great game. Everyone had more than ample footy on the day, no injuries, no concerns and great games all day.
Well done to all, the awards were as such:
