Young aspiring athletes put through their paces...

The Aspiring Supercats Program 2010

Pictured on the right are Brad Mayes and Jacob Pupavac in amongst a talented group of aspiring young basketball athletes who were selected to participate in an elite training program run by head coach of the Supercats Jamie O'Loughlin and his assistants.

Sponsored by Lazer Quest's Seb Loader who will again suit up for the Supercats in season 2011 the program ran for 9 weeks putting all the boys through tough endurance style basketball drills, skills and techniques for up to two hours at a time.

Former Kings under 18 player Xavier Pierce pictured on the left was also amongst the group and his efforts during the program matched those of the younger boys who should all be duly recognised as talent coming from the grass roots of the South Geelong Kings Basketball Club.

The Kings Basketball community wish to thank the Supercats for conducting a wonderful and professional program for all the athletes who participated, not only our own boys who will all stand to benefit greatly from the experience.

That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand.
