Player Information
Mixed teams from U6 to U14 play on Saturdays. Mixed U15s and above, and all girls’ teams play on Sundays. Some of the U12 to U18 games will be played under lights on a Friday night.
If you will not be attending a game during the season due to holidays or sickness please advise your coach or manager ASAP especially if you will be away for a few weeks in a row. This will assist your team to have time to arrange a replacement player while you are absent. If you are unable to attend a trianing sessions please advise your coach or manager.
- U6 & U7 - 15 Minutes each way
- U8 & U9 - 20 minutes each way
- U10, U11 & U12 - 25 minutes each way
- U13 & U14 - 30 minutes each way
- U15 & U16 - 35 minutes each way
- U17 & U18 - 40 minutes each way
Jewellery & Glasses
Strictly No jewellery is to be worn by players during a match – as per FFA rules. No earrings, nose rings, necklaces, rings, watches, bracelets, rigid headbands, bobby pins etc
Coaches and managers please ensure players have removed ALL jewellery prior to attending the ID check.
Children requiring spectacles must wear ‘sports glasses’ consisting of special materials designed to minimise injury.
Borrowing of players
This is a guide only to which players can be borrowed for competition teams. The FSC by-laws take precident over this document.
Please note that there is a 2 year age restriction which is based on the lowest age that a player would qualify for. For example if a player who would qualify to play U14's and is registerd for U15's, he or she cannot be borrowed for any U17 competition.
Shirts and Uniform
Shirts for the game are provided by KJFC.
Shirts MUST be returned to the Coach in the kit bag after each game.
Shirts are NOT to be worn outside the playing venue.
Each team member will be asked to take it in turns to take the shirts home each week, wash and return for the next game.
Shorts (Navy) and socks (Navy/sky blue) are available from Kiama Cycle and Sports in Collins St, Kiama. Drop in and see Des. He also has a good range of boots, shin pads and other football gear
Balls
The club provides coaches with a ball for each player at training. Players may bring their own balls to training however we do recommend that ball sizes are age appropriate.
- U6 to U9 - Size 3 Ball
- U10 to U13 - Size 4 Ball
- U14 to U18 - Size 5 Ball
Team sheets
ALL teams are required to fill in their team sheet approx half hour PRIOR to each match generally by the manager.
Please ensure all players are written correctly as per sample provided.
All SSG teams MUST do their own ID checks with the opposing teams coach/manager on the sideline PRIOR to your match
ALL GRADED teams must be present in the club house 15 minutes prior to the start of their match for an ID check with an KJFC official
Graded teams please ensure the final score is correct and written in the correct team column prior to signing off on the team sheet at the end of your match
ALL team sheets MUST be signed or a FINE will be incurred
