The Panton Hill Football Club and local community is deeply saddened by the passing of club stalwart Brad Chircop following a car accident near his home in Craigieburn last Wednesday 25 January 2012. Brad was in the prime of his life and our thoughts at this time are with his wife Kim and three young sons who have now lost a devoted family man.
Brad was a key player in the Panton Hill sides of the 2000's having arrived at the club with mates Glenn Oakley and Brett Thorn in 2001 with Garry Ramsay as coach. Brad played a key role in Panton Hill's 2003 finals campaign and was amongst the club's best players during the mid 2000's. He was named in the back pocket in the Team of the Decade (2000-2009) last March and despite retring early following a broken leg after 2 matches in 2008 Brad continued to strongly support the Redbacks, including supporting the seniors and reserves in their finals capaign last year. Brad is remembered fondly as a loyal friend who is dedicated to his family. He is also remembered fondly by all that knew him through his association with the Panton Hill Football Club.
Funeral details will be posted shortly.
