Torin played for Werribee FC in the VFL from 1999 – 2002 before moving to St Josephs in the GFL where he played 150 games and won the League Best and Fairest in 2007. He moved onto Camperdown FC in the Hampden Football League where he was a playing coach. The last two years Torin has played at Spotswood FC where he won a Premiership in 2011 whilst combining his assistant coaching role at the Western Jets.
Torin has previously worked with the U16 Western Jets squad in 2010 and 2011 and been a TAC Cup Assistant Coach. In 2013 Torin was been appointed the Head Coach for the Jets.
2018 is the sixth season with Torin at the helm. In that time the Jets have played in the finals on two occasions in 2013 and 2014 and had the following players taken in either the AFL National Dtaft or AFL Rookie Draft; James Sicily, Liam Duggan, Corey Ellis, Jayden Laverde, Dillon-Viojo-Rainbow, Connor Menadue, Brenton Payne, Luke Goetz, Daniel Venables, Oscar Junker, Cameron Rayner (first Western Jets player to be drafted at No1), Lachlan Fogarty and Tristan Xerri.more -->
Tom commenced his playing days for the Bacchus Marsh Football Club in the Ballarat Football League. He played his junior football at the Club from 1993 - 1999 and continued on as a senior player from 2000 - 2004. Tom had a stint at the Western Jets from 1998 - 2000 in the TAC Cup Competition. In 2005 Tom moved from the Ballarat Football League to the Bellarine Football League playing for Torquay for two seasons in 2005 and 2006. In 2006 Tom played in a senior premiership for the Torquay Football Club. In 2007 he moved to East Geelong and played in the Geelong & District Football League for the 2007 and 2008 seasons. In 2009 Tom played a season with the Old Westbourne Grammarians in the VAFA before moving back to East Geelong for his final two seasons of his playing career for East Geelong in 2010 and 2011.
In Tom's final year of playing in 2011 he combined those duties with also being Assistant Coach and Chairman of Selectors at East Geelong. In 2012 Tom made the transition into Senior Coach of the Club as they finished runners up. In 2013 he moved to Newton & Chilwell Football Club in the Geelong Football League where he was the Senior Assistant Coach. From their Tom joined the Western Jets in 2014 as the Opposition Analyst and Forward Scout before in 2015 bcoming an Assistant Coach looking after the Western Jets Backline. In 2016 and 2018 Tom was the Midfield Coach, and in 2017 Tom looked after the Forwards.
Since 2017 Tom combined his role as an Assistant Coach at the Western Jets with being the U/16 Vic Metro Assistant Coach.more -->
Troy played 304 senior games of country football at Melton South FNC and Riddell Football Club.He was the Melton South Senior club captain from 2001 – 2003. During 2001 Troy won a Ballarat Football League interleague premiership with Vic Country.
Troy moved onto coaching at Melton South as their Senior coach from 2006 – 2010 and also coached the BFL U18 Interleague team from 2006-2008. In 2007 he coached the team to the Vic Country Division 1 Country Championships. In 2011-12 he was the Assistant Coach at Riddle FC and in 2012 was also the Melton South Junior U12 coach which he continues to do.
Troy joined the Jets in 2012 as the U15 Assistant coach. in 2013 and 2014 Troy was the head coach for the U15 Victoria University Development Squad. In 2015 he took a step back from the Jets to contrate on his role at Riddell FC as their senior coach.
In 2016 Troy returned to the Jets to take up a role as an Assistant Coach for the TAC Cup Squad.more -->
Mark was a Melton junior who in the mid 1990’s came through a similar pathway to our current players – firstly our Western Jets under 15 and 16 Development Squads, before playing TAC Cup Football and onto Williamstown (VFL).
Mark returned to senior local football at Melton (BFL) before joining Albion (WRFL) in 2000.Mark commenced coaching senior football at Melton Centrals (RDFL) in 2007 (2007-09, 2011) during which time he was also RDFL Intra-league (2008) and Inter-League (2009) Assistant Coach. Mark then returned to Albion as Senior Coach for the 2012 & ‘13 seasons. In 2014/15 Mark again returned to Melton (BFL) in various playing and coaching roles.
Mark has looked after the forwards and midfield since being at the club.

Matt Cape joined the Western Jets in 2017 as an Assistant Coach and looked after the Midfield Group. In 2018 he took on a specialist development role working particulary with the forwards.
Matt played VFL Football at the Williamstown Football Club and also has a long and distinguished Country Football career representing the Darley Football Club in the Ballarat Football League.
Matt is also a very good cricketer, he played for the Essendon Cricket Club and still plays for the Darley Cricket Club.more -->
Adrian, joined the Western Jets at the end of 2017 as Development Coach/Midfield Assistant Coach.
He went through the North Ballarat Rebels Development squads before joining the Northern Bullants in the VFL. He progressed into the coaching ranks with the Horsham Saints in the Wimmera Football league as an assistant, with another stint with Avoca FC in the Maryborough Castlemaine League.
Adrian became the senior coach of Avoca in 2012 for threee seasons, before taking on the Tatyoon FC role in the Miniera FL, winning the premiership in first season at the helm in 2016. In 2017 he combined his role as an assistant coach of the Mininera FL in the Victorian Country Championships.more -->
Aron joined the Western Jets in 2017 in a matchday role, before taking on the development coach position in 2018.
He played his junior football at Taylors Lakes FC in the EDFL before pursuing swimming where he was quite successful, winning multiple state medals in Victoria and South Australia. Aron, later returned to play football at Keilor Park, before returning to Taylors Lakes in his final year of football.
Aron, is actively involved in the promotion of Australian ruled football as he is the Chairperson of the Australian Football subcommittee of SSV. His passion for swimming still sees him compete in the occasional ocean swim, winning the Male 18-29 year Wreck to Reef 1.2km Ocean Swim in 2017 and 2018.
He has previously coached at Caroline Springs FC at the junior levels and combines his Western Jets role currently as the Head Coach of the WRFL/Western Bulldogs Interleague Team at the junior metro carnivals. A PE teacher by trade, since 2012 he has looked after numerous girls and boys football programs.more -->
Bridget started playing Youth Girls football in 2005, the second year of the competitions existence in Victoria. Since 2005 Bridget has been heavily involved in women’s and girls AFL. Some of her AFL football achievements include, coaching back to back premierships as head coach of the Melbourne University Under 18’s, gaining a level 2 AFL coaching accreditation in 2016, Winner of the AFL Football woman of the year emerging leader award 2015 and being the first woman and non-player to win an award at the North Melbourne Football Club Syd Barker Best and fairest awards, taking home the Peter Scanlon Community award.
Bridget has been involved in various female talents programs in coaching and administration roles such as the Victorian Kickstart Indigenous girls Victorian Team, the South Metro Junior Football interleague team, various diversity initiatives to get young multicultural women engaged in AFL and Next Generation Academy trials with the North Melbourne Football Club.more -->
Gary represented Yarraville and Brunswick in the VFA during his playing days before playing in the FDFL. He then moved onto coaching both senior and junior clubs in the FDFL (now WRFL) winning premierships with St Albans, Sunshine Heights and Albion Football Clubs. Gary turned his hand to umpiring from 2002 – 2003 in the WRFL.
In 2006 Gary joined the Western Jets where he was an Assistant U15 coach from 2006 – 2009 and then the head U15 coach from 2010-2012.
Gary has been the U/16 Brad Johnson Head Coach since 2013 and has also been the Majak Daw Multicutural Squad Head Coach during that time.more -->
