Welcome to the Palmerston Power Basketball Club NT! We're thrilled to have you on board, taking on the vital role of team manager. Your dedication and involvement make a significant impact on our club, and we appreciate your commitment.
Team management is a rewarding and flexible role that many parents and caregivers within our club embrace during their child's basketball journey with us. Compared to coaching, it offers a bit more flexibility, but it's no less essential to our team's success.
Your primary point of contact within the club will be our Coaching Coordinator, Marcia Habets who will provide you with the necessary information and support throughout the season. Your Duties as Team Manager:
As a team manager, your main responsibilities include:
- Communicating with team members, their families, and coaches regarding weekly games, club policies, and events.
- Setting up the MOJO app and inviting the team members parents/guardians.
- Ensuring accurate team contact details and player numbers are in the communication app.
- Preparing and managing a duty roster for scoring weekly games.
- Arranging fill-ins when the team is short of players and providing guidance on forfeits.
- Organising an end-of-season gift for the coach or coaches and help with planning the team's end of year presentation.
