Kryptonite downs Islanders, 81-24

Contender team Kryptonite combined offense and defense as they drubbed the Islanders, 81-24 Thursday night in the ongoing 2012 IP&E Women’s National Basketball League played at the Palau National gym.

After securing the opening tip off with an 18-8 lead. Team Kryptonite shed little sweat as they sailed smoothly to win the game as Mahealani Adelbai leading the scoring chores with 19 points as teammate Dilngerii Maech added 17 as they now sport a 4-0 win-loss record in the team standings.

On the other hand, Diliaur Kumaichi helped breath life for the Islanders with 8 points as they are still in the cellar with a 0-4 tally.

Games will resume tonight with top teams Money colliding with Kryptonite at 7:30 p.m. as Smooth Riders will meet Peched Reds on Wednesday night at 6 p.m. and Islanders will be pitted against Underdawgs on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
