MOF Omsangel stays unbeaten in 2011 Rudimch Government/Business League

Ministry of Finance (MOF) Omsangel remains unbeaten after scoring their seventh straight victory at the expense of Justice League, 108-97 Friday night in the ongoing 2011 season of the Rudimch Enterprise Government/Business League at the Palau National gym.

After taking a 26-21 lead, MOF and Justice League locked in at 23-all as the former took a 49-44 lead at the end of the half. But the MOF placed the dagger of the game as they outscored Justice League with a 44-33 to take the game away.

Weston had a monster game as he tallied a career high 63 points to lead MOF Omsangel to the win and take a 7-0 win-loss tally while Melvin had 29 for Justice League who remains winless with a 0-4 mark.

In other games, MOJ Cops won over PNCC Molekoi, 58-47; Dollar 99 defeated Palasia Hotel, 107-59; SDA Crusaders bested Fish and Fins Hunters, 65-46; and Mason’s Hardware outscored PRR Dragons, 90-61.

Games resume tonight with Palasia versus PRR Dragons at 6 p.m. followed by the Neco-SDA Crusaders tussle at 7:30 p.m. while PRR Shark Attack will meet Dollar 99 in the main game at 9 p.m. tomorrow’s games will have KSG against PNOC/PBRA Mercury Optimax at 6 p.m. followed by the MOJ Cops-MPIIC match at 7:30 p.m. while MOF Omsangel will meet MOE I Spiders at 9 p.m.

October 13 matches will feature Mason’s Hardware taking on Fish and Fins Hunters at 6 p.m. as Sam’s Sharks will meet the Spoilers at 7:30 p.m. while PPR Shark Attack will test the PRR Dragons in the night cap at 9 p.m.
