No practice session and a short 20 minute qualifying session saw #55 struggling but not defeated to qualify in 25th.
The heat was on, in the air and in the car. Cabin temperatures soared as race two for the weekend began. TD got a good start to hold position, to be quickly halted by a safety car period after just one lap. The safety car pulled back in and barely had time to park before it was again deployed. Once the incident was cleared and the racing began TD carved his way up to 4th position before coming in to pit for the first of his compulsory pit stops for fuel and tyres, rejoining the pack in 25th.
Working hard, TD manoeuvred the green machine up to 9th before another safety car was deployed, taking the opportunity to come in and pit.
'We got held up by Britek who we share a pit area with when we came in for our stop. The boys did a great job to make up lost time to get me back out there'.
Battling with S.Richards and Patrizi, Tony fought and didn't give up until he ran out of laps, with the green machine crossing the line in 17th position.
'The track was better then yesterday in terms of grip which we struggled with all weekend. We had a few hold ups along the way, but in terms of our stratagie, it all went as planned.'
