THE Caroline Springs Football Club has announced coach Scott Korczynski will no longer coach the senior side.
The Lakers made the announcement on their Facebook page this morning.
In the post the club thanked Scott for his time and efforts over the past 12 months and said ‘he will always be our first ever senior premiership coach’.
The post stated, ‘obviously this is a huge decision, but it has been made with the best interest of our club moving forward.’
Scott joined the club last season, leading Caroline Springs to the their first senior premiership, with the club defeating the Yarraville Seddon Eagles in last year’s Division 2 grand final.
The Lakers made the jump into Division 1 in 2017. Despite not winning any games so far this season, the team has continued to impress.
Marc Raak is set to take over as interim coach for the remainder of the season.
