15U & 17U MEN'S NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS - DAY 5 RECAP

15U MEN

Nova Scotia 82 - Saskatchewan 67

Nova Scotia advanced their record to 4-1 after beating Saskatchewan 82-67.

Gage Sabean had a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds, while Lindall Wigginton had 18 points.

Chan De Ciman had 19 points in the loss to Nova Scotia.

New Brunswick - Alberta

P.E.I. 41 - Newfoundland 49

Newfoundland was able to improve their record to 2-3 after a win over P.E.I. 49-41.

Brandon Bambrick scored 13 points to help Newfoundland earn a victory.

P.E.I. was led by Logan Macdonald who scored a team-high 17 points.

Ontario 92 - Manitoba 36

Ontario continued their impresseive tournament with a convincing 92-36 win over Manitoba.

Ontario had a well balanced attack with 11 players scoring and four players scoring in double digits including; Tyrell Leotaud (12), Marcus Ottey (12), Keshon Montauge (11) and Tyler Plummer with (10)

Manitoba attack was led by William Sesay who scored 10 points in the contest.

British Columbia 67 - Quebec 80

The host city had plenty to cheer for, when host province Quebec was able to defeat British Columbia 80-67.

Quebec Jerome Desrosiers scored 18, while Silvio Biabo had 17 and Ethan Gabert-Doyon had 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Bennett-Boire led British Columbia with 23 points. 

17U MEN

Northwest Territories 59 - Newfoundland 87

Newfoundland was able to come up with a win and improve their record to 3-2 after a win 87-59 over Northwest Territories.

Sam Proswe led Newfoundland with 17 points and 3 rebounds against Northwest Territories.

Laurent Isaiah led the way for 26 points and 15 rebounds.

Nova Scotia 86 - Saskatchewan 60

Nova Scotia was able to even their record to 2-2 afover Saskatchewan, 86-60.

Travis Adams led the way for Nova Scotia by compiling 23 points and added 3 rebounds in the win.

Ryan Delwo had 25 points and 7 rebounds in the losing effort.

Alberta 89 - New Brunswick 66

Alberta was able to earn their first victory after downing New Brunswick 89-66.

Alberta had three players score over 15 points; Wil Konybai (23), Barento Mohammed (16) and Adonis Monfort-Palomino (16).

New Brunswick had a great performance from Erik Nissen who had 24 points and 9 rebounds.

P.E.I. 72 - Northwest Territories 42

P.E.I. was able to earn their first victory at National by beating Northwest Territories 72-42.

Mark Matheson had a doube-double by scoring 20 points and grabbing 12 rebounds in the game.

Laurent Isiah once again led Northwest Territories with 17 points and 10 rebounds in the game.

Ontario 95 - Quebec 46

Ontario was able to keep their record perfect by beating the hometown Quebec team 95-46.

Ontario had five players in double digits in scoring including; Malcolm Duvivier (22), Marcus Lewis (13), Tyrell Bellot-Green (11), Brody Clarke (10) and Juwan Miller (10).

Quebec had a nice performance by Abdul Aziz-Atta who had 10 points and 9 rebounds.

British Columbia 76 - Manitoba 88

Manitoba continued their impressive tournament by being able to keep their record perfect with a 5-0 record after a 88-76 vicory over British Columbia.

Manitoba was led by Mamoud Sasay (21), Sampson Kinsley (20) and Benjamin Miller (17).

Alexander Hart led the way for B.C. with 26 points and notching 15 rebounds.
