Eddie Maslic joins the Wolfpack

The Chambers Franklyn City of Joondalup Wolves are excited to announce the signing of 6’10 big man Eddie Maslic for the 2023 NBL1 West season.

Born in Melbourne Australia, Eddie is a young prospect who comes from the Europe Basketball Academy, playing in the professional Spanish Liga EBA for club Barcelona and later for Club Baloncesto Santa Cruz.

At 6’10, Eddie is an imposing big man who is hard to keep off the boards during games and has a frame that competes with the size in our league. Eddie is an unselfish player who we look forward to watching with ‘The Pack’ in the NBL1 West this season!

This is what Eddie had to say about his signing:

“I am very excited and grateful to have the opportunity to sign with the Joondalup Wolves. I look forward to working with a great team and staff this season and improving on last year’s results. So far, it has been a very easy transition into the team being that it is such a great club.”

NBL1 Head Coach David Morrell had this to say about the signing:

“Eddie is a big man, and that’s obviously beneficial in basketball. He’s about 6-foot-10, but has a really solid, strong frame too. He’s still young and has all the potential to develop at a very fast pace.

He’s hungry to learn and grow, and I am very excited to see what we can do in trainings and individual skill development this year to catalyst that growth. We are really excited to welcome Eddie Maslic to the Wolves!”

Eddie joins CJ Turnage, Jonathan Wade, Bryan Michaels, Gabe Chadinha, Brody England, Jordan Wellsteed, Ben Geel, Archie Hall and Jermaine Malie for the 2023 NBL1 West season.
