ZAMBRERO JOONDALUP - COACH OF THE MONTH - SEPTEMBER
Congratulations to Steve Geel, winner of the Zambrero Joondalup Coach of the Month award for the month of September.
Steve is the U16 Boy’s Champs Head Coach.
Steve did a fantastic job this year with the U16 Boys Champs team. His team improved significantly throughout the year and made finals as a lower seed. They went on to make the grand final - beating Cockburn in the quarterfinals and Willetton in the semi-final before falling short in the GF. Steve is a lifelong learner as a coach and attends all coach development sessions and is always hungry to discuss basketball and learn. This is a mark of a coach that we love having in the Wolfpack. Beyond his work with his Champs team, Steve also gave up his time throughout the year to help coach the Futures program and Wolfpack Elite program as well. Thank you, Steve for all the work you do to help our players grow.
