Duncan Joins the Pack

The Chambers Franklyn City of Joondalup Wolves are excited to announce the signing of long-time Wolves junior, Hannah Duncan for the 2022 NBL1 West season.

This will be Hannah’s rookie season playing on the Wolfpack NBL1 Women’s Team. Hannah has played as a Wolfpack junior since 2015 in under 12’s and has developed quite the resume earning the 2020 Wolfpack Female Player of the Year, and consecutive spots on the Basketball WA Under 16, Under 18, and, most recent, Under 20 State Teams. This young 6’ shooting forward presents additional depth for the Wolves with her length and threatening perimeter abilities.

When asked about her signing with the Wolves, Hannah said,

“I’m so excited to be stepping out with the Wolves NBL1 team this year. We have such an admirable coach in Marcus Wong, great team culture and a club with an awesome atmosphere, and I feel lucky to be a part of it all. I can’t wait to see how the season unfolds and for us to grow as a unit!”

New NBL1 Women’s Head Coach Marcus Wong had this to say about the signing of Hannah,

“I am really excited to have Hannah join our NBL1 squad this season. She is an exciting young talent who has grown through the Wolves junior program and so far has shown that she will be able to compete at this level straight away. She brings a hard work ethic and great attitude to training and I can see her really making big improvements over the next 6 months.

Hannah will be joining Teige Morrell, Neseya Parker-Williams, Chelsea Belcher, Tia Ucich, Shani Caldwell, Kiara Phillips, Laniesha Paddon, Akim Lual, Olivia Basso, and Aryaan Horne on the 2022 Wolves Women’s roster.
