Horne Re-signs with the Wolves
The Chambers Franklyn City of Joondalup Wolves are excited to announce the re-signing of Aryaan Horne for the 2022 NBL1 West season.
Aryaan has played at the NBL1 level since 2017. Last season, the 5’2” guard earned the 2021 NBL1 West Wolfpack Coach’s Award which is a big reflection on the positive attitude, enthusiastic energy, and relentless effort she consistently brings to the team! Aryaan’s leadership on both ends of the court will, once again, be a major strong suit for the Wolves this season.
When asked about her return to the Wolves, Aryaan said,
“I’m thrilled to be re-signing with Wolves for the 2022 NBL1 season. With Marcus as our new head coach and new player additions to the team, this year is shaping up to be fun and exciting. I’m looking forward to developing my game and contributing to building a successful team.”
NBL1 Women’s Head Coach, Marcus Wong, had this to say about the signing of Aryaan,
“Having Ary back again for another season in the program is fantastic! She works hard in everything she does and she has been killing it in our pre-season gym sessions. Her ability to be a lock down defender will provide us with a variety of options in defence and her skill set fits into our system really well. As an older head in the group, she has shown she is willing to provide guidance to the younger players, which is great.”
