January Coach of the Month –– Jackson Pickett

January Coach of the Month –– Jackson Pickett

Young, up and coming Wolves WABL coach Jackson Pickett has demonstrated some great coaching practices over the first month of trainings back as we approach grading. Trainings are energetic, active, and players are competing. He has demonstrated good understanding of practice tempo in his practice designs, and he balances a good mix of coaching on the run and interventional instruction/teaching. As a club, we like Jackson’s ability to push the kids and hold them to high expectations for their effort and focus, mixed with a great enthusiasm and positivity with the way he coaches.

As an extra shoutout with this COTM nomination, Jackson’s assistant coach Justin Lowson, has been a fantastic help in practices. He has a contagious level of energy and enthusiasm, is a great educator, and has been hungry to learn from others and keep improving in his coaching craft.

Jackson (and Justin), your U12 Boys team is grateful of your efforts, and the Wanneroo Basketball Association appreciates all your hard work and dedication to the players!

Thank you and keep up the great work!

Wolfpack Basketball's Coach of the Month recipient, recognises our club's coaching talent and commitment across the entire Association. Yes, that's Domestic, WABL and NBL1.
