The Joondalup Wolves are excited to announce the re-signing of Amber Land for the 2021 NBL1 West season.

The 6’2” American forward who has now built a home for herself in Perth, has played college basketball at Eastern Michigan University and professionally in Europe. Joining the Wolves in 2019, Amber averaged 13 points at a 45% field goal average. With Amber’s professionalism and athleticism, we are looking forward to what she can bring to the NBL1 West season in 2021.

Amber spoke to the Joondalup Wolves on her thoughts about re-signing for 2021.

“I'm super excited to be back with Wolves in 2021! It was a no-brainer. With fantastic teammates, coaches and support staff, we are looking forward to building on our Championship season.”

Joondalup Wolves Women’s Head Coach Charles Nix shared his thoughts on Amber re-signing for the NBL1 West season.

"Amber is an out and out professional and a highly respected member of our team. She's so strong and works extremely hard both in training and games and I'm ecstatic that she's staying with us for the inaugural NBL1 West season."

Amber will be joining Kayla Steindl, Nes’eya Williams, Izzy Miotti, Georgia Denehey and Chelsea Belcher on the Wolves Women’s roster in 2021.
