WE'RE BACK
The Wanneroo Basketball Association is pleased to announce WE'RE BACK with Winter competitions set to commence.
The Wanneroo Basketball Association has been monitoring the State Governments restrictions and working very closely with Basketball WA and Venues West to create a road map to basketball which allows us to manage a safe return to the game we love.
Currently, the Wanneroo Basketball Association is operating under the guidelines as set out in the Orange 24 restrictions in our return to play document, all members must strictly adhere to these guidelines.
It is important that everyone involved in our association clearly understands the requirements for a safe return to competition so that basketball continues contributing to positive community health outcomes.
WINTER COMPETITION
*Subject to any changes in government or Venues West restrictions
Junior Domestic
The Competition will commence in term 3 and run for the duration of the school term. Fixtures will be posted on our website closer to the commencement of the season.
Being a shortened season there will be no finals or winner declared, this season is all about getting back on the court and the kids having fun again with their teammates.
WHAT TO DO
- If you have already registered for the 2020 Winter season your club will be in contact with you regarding when and where training begins.
- If you had previously registered for the 2020 winter season and requested a refund and would like to re-join, please contact your previous club.
- If you have not previously registered for the 2020 winter season, please email us at welcome@wolves.asn.au with the child’s name, date of birth, suburb and a brief outline of any basketball experience.
Our junior domestic competition is a great opportunity for girls and boys to get involved in team sport.
Senior Domestic
The competition is proposed to commence Monday 29th June and Wednesday 1st July

We thank everyone involved with basketball for helping to slow the spread of COVID-19 and being patient as we navigated these unprecedented times. We require all players, coaches and spectators to understand and adhere to all protocols in the attached return to play guidelines
