2019/20 Junior Domestic
Due to the unfortunate early closure of the Summer 2019/2020 Junior Domestic Competition season which cancelled the subsequent finals series, the Wanneroo Basketball Association would like to congratulate the following Junior Domestic Competition teams on finishing at the top of their respective competition ladders at the endpoint of the season and as such, being declared the Champions for the Summer 2019/2020 season. The decision to announce a winner for each relevant grade of the Junior Domestic Season was made in consultation with the Junior Domestic Club Presidents and with the winners determined in accordance with WBA By laws.
As per the current WBA By Laws, ladder position is determined firstly by:
- Win / Loss ratio of each team (ie the number of wins when compared to games played by each team – not based on ‘premiership points’);
- If still equal, then by the Head to Head results between teams that may be tied by Win/Loss ratio;
- If still equal, then by overall percentage (total points for and against)
All participation trophies (for U8s and U10s grades) and championship medallions will be made available as soon as possible and as per the Government restrictions allow. Unfortunately, at this stage, no set time or point of delivery can be announced for the collection.
