Venuewest have just informed WBA Management that in addition to their booking of the AFL Marsh Cup match to be played at HBF Arena on Saturday 7th March there will also be a ‘curtain raiser’ held prior to this match and as such, there will be a number of WBA Junior Domestic Competition Matches impacted upon and fixtures changes made accordingly. CAN ALL MEMBERS PLEASE CHECK THE ONLINE FIXTURES TO SEE WHEN YOUR TEAM IS PLAYING ON THIS DATE (if you are using the WBA App, please ‘refresh’ the application to ensure all updated information has been included or check via the WolfPack Basketball website.

For matches played at HBF Arena please note some VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Parking - THERE WILL BE LIMITED PARKING AVAILABLE FROM 10.30AM:

With there being an expectation of a large crowd to attend the Marsh Cup match (and the curtain raiser prior beginning at 12pm). For those playing in the 10.30am and 11.20am timeslots, we strongly recommend arriving earlier to your games just to allow additional time to find parking spaces.

  • From 10.30am – Traffic Management officers will be on hand to direct traffic. If you are stopped, please advise them that you are arriving for a WBA junior basketball match
  • From 11am – Entry via Kennedya Drive will be closed, with all access needing to come from Waabiyn Way.
  • Patrons up to 12pm will still be able to exit (left turn only) from Kennedya, but all entrances will need to be from Waabiyn Way.
  • Post 12pm all entry and exits must be via Waabiyn Way.

 Exiting HBF Arena:

  • All Patrons must exit HBF Arena immediately after your match through the emergency exit doors on Courts 3 and 4 as directed by WBA and Venueswest staff.
  • All patrons and staff must have exited the facility by 12.15pm
