The Chambers Franklyn Joondalup City Wolves are delighted to announce and welcome 6’1 American Import, Brittany Hodges to the 2020 Wolves Women’s roster.

Hodges, from Georgia, USA, is no stranger to the SBL competition, having played for the Southwest Slammers in 2017 averaging 20ppg and 12rpg and was named a league All-Star.

Prior to her time with the Slammers, Hodges played her college basketball with NCAA D1 school Furman University averaging 13ppg and 8.4rpg as a senior. Hodge has had professional stops in Germany, Portugal, Luxemburg and Puerto Rico.

Most recently Hodges played in the NBL1 for the Launceston Tornadoes in 2019 where she averaged 16.6ppg and 10.5rpg, then moved to Germany to play in the DBBL for TSV 1880 Wasserburg.

Coach Charles Nix was extremely excited to sign such a proven performer, with vast international experience who had dominated the SBL in the past.

“It’s exciting to have Brittany come into the program. She brings a different skill set to what we currently have in the post position and is a player that sets the standard with work rate.
