Coach of the Month | Jackson Pickett
Wolfpack Basketball's Coach of the Month recipient, recognises our club's coaching talent and commitment across the entire Association. Yes that's Domestic, WABL and SBL.
Each month a coach will be recognised for their attitude, work ethic and alignment to our club vision.
Every monthly winner enters the draw at year end to win a $500 coaching grant, to better their skills and further develop their game experience and education.
Congratulations Jackson Pickett - our November winner!
From an association stand point it is fantastic to see a young up and coming coach nominated for this award. As well as representing the Wolves as a WABL player Jackson has been actively involved in coaching our juniors over the last few seasons.
Jackson coaches 2 Marlins domestic teams, a U/12 boys C grade team as well as an U/14A grade side. He is an assistant coach with our under 12’s WABL squad and has been actively involved in our trials and also helps with our grass roots Aussie Hoops programs. On top of this he is a fan favourite with our School Holiday Camp attendee’s with his energy and playful nature.
The passion that Jackson shows towards junior development and inclusiveness in our sport is a testament to his maturity and love for the game. He has a strong desire to give back and pass on his knowledge to our up and coming stars.
Thank you to Jackson for your commitment to the Wolves Way and the time and effort you put into giving back.
