Coach of the Month | Ellie McLaughlin
Wolfpack Basketball's Coach of the Month recipient, recognises our club's coaching talent and commitment across the entire Association. Yes that's Domestic, WABL and SBL.
Each month a coach will be recognised for their attitude, work ethic and alignment to our club vision.
Every monthly winner enters the draw at year end to win a $500 coaching grant, to better their skills and further develop their game experience and education.
Congratulations ELLIE McLAUGHLIN - our APRIL winner
Ellie has coached Phoenix G5 girls since she was 14 years old. She has grown into a great coach in the two years since then and has committed herself to developing her skills over that time. Ellie is a wonderful role model for her team who are currently playing in the U/12’s.
Leading the way by volunteering her free time, showing the team the importance of health and fitness and encouraging team work, Ellie is a real inspiration for young girls. Ellie does all of this while balancing being a high school student, refereeing basketball on the weekends and working part-time.
Her efforts have been rewarded with being appointed the role of Assistant Coach to u1/4 girls division 2 Wolves. Ellie is an asset to the Phoenix and to the Wolves and has a bright future!
