Wolves Secure Kayla Steindl
The Chambers Franklyn Joondalup City Wolves are delighted to announce and welcome Perth Lynx WNBL star and 2018 SBL Top 4 MVP Kayla Steindl to the 2019 Wolves Women’s roster.
The elite 29-year-old, hailing from Washington, USA, is a star of the competition, having played for Head Coach Charles Nix at the Perth Redbacks in 2018, with an All-Star 5, Semi-Final and 4th in the WSBL League MVP just some of her accomplishments.
Her WNBL season to-date with the Lynx is seeing 9 points and 6 rebounds per game in 28mins, against the best 4/5’s in the country.
Coach Charles Nix reunites with his star and good friend, in what is being externally described as perhaps the League’s most carefully-constructed, highly-talented Women’s SBL roster in several years.
”When I sat down with List Management, I made it clear that signing Kayla should be our number 1 target, and we never wavered from this objective” Nix said.
“To reunite with her, and bring her into the professional environment of the Wolves program, is just very exciting”
“The roster that we have put together for 2019 is hugely talented, I’m certain that all Wolfpack season members and fans will enjoy what’s ahead” Nix concluded.
