Coach of the Month | Matt Browne
Wolfpack Basketball's 2018 initiative, the Coach of the Month recipient, recognises our club's coaching talent and commitment across the entire Association. Yes that's Domestic, WABL and SBL.
Each month a coach will be recognised for their attitude, work ethic and alignment to our club vision.
Every monthly winner enters the draw at year end to win a $500 coaching grant, to better their skills and further develop their game experience and education.
Congratulations MATT BROWNE - our July winner!
Matt Browne has been a long-term WABL coach and is noted for his support of fellow coaches and athletes alike, stepping in and up to assist when required. This is an outstanding characteristic.
Matt has his U16 Men's team performing above expectations as the club's second team in the highly-competitive U16 Championship division.
This is the first time that this circumstance has occurred at the Wolves since the State's new grading process was implemented, and the group's resilience and endeavour to compete is widely recognised and admired.
Matt has a great level of rapport with his team, possessing an innate ability to get the very best out of his young athletes.
Well done Matt - keep up the great work!
