NEW JUNIOR DOMESTIC CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT

The Northside Cobras Basketball Club Inc is proud to become the 7th club affiliated with the Wanneroo Basketball Association!

Northside Cobras is a brand new junior basketball club established with a view to promoting the great game of basketball in the northern suburbs from Jindalee to Two Rocks in the north and as far as Gingin to the northeast.

Our aim is to promote and encourage our members to have fun whilst improving and developing their basketball skills, at the same time enjoying being involved in a team sport. We strive to be a strong and inclusive community based sporting club with a focus on equal opportunity for all players and respect for the rights of all participants.

We have training venues in Butler, Joondalup, Kinross and Two Rocks. We are also looking to secure a venue in Yanchep.

The Cobras will participate in the Wanneroo Basketball Association’s upcoming 2017/18 Spring / Summer competition and beyond.
With the season fast approaching, we are seeking expressions of interest ahead of the official registration day for domestic clubs.

Registration day will be held on Saturday 2 September at the Joondalup Basketball Stadium at 9.00am.

Our focus is the future, so we encourage girls and boys to become foundation members of our Under 8’s and Under 10’s teams. We also have limited places available for all age groups up to Under 18’s.

We are capping the number of our teams to 15 for our first season, so if you are interested in joining us please contact us to secure your place.

An expression of interest form can be obtained from our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/NorthsideCobras

Alternatively, you can contact our Club’s Registrar, Helen, via email at Registrar.cobrasjbc@gmail.com or phone 0402 857 582. You can also contact our Club’s President, Adrian, by phone on 0439 066 268.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
