Craig Copes to make NBL debut!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Wanneroo Basketball Association, along with the Joondalup Basketball Referee Association (JBRA), are proud to announce that local product Craig COPES will make his NBL refereeing debut this Friday night at Perth Arena for the Perth Wildcats vs. Illawarra Hawks match.

A number of Joondalup faces on and around the court will be familiar to Craig, including Wildcats athlete Greg HIRE and Hawks Head Coach Rob BEVERIDGE.

Craig grew up in Manjimup, before moving to Perth. 

He refereed domestic competition at Joondalup Basketball Stadium during his University studies, starting circa 2005 and continuing for the following 5 years.

Craig has a significant involvement in the game and refereeing in WA;

  • JBRA Referee Instructor since 2011
  • JBRA Committee Member the last 3 years
  • SBL 14 Seasons
  • WNBL 3 Seasons

Everyone involved at the Wanneroo Basketball Association would like to wish Craig the best of luck for his NBL whistle debut, and for a long and successful NBL career.
