Friday & Ettridge Recommit
The Joondalup Wolves are pleased to announce the continuation of Craig Friday as WSBL Head Coach and Ben Ettridge as MSBL Head Coach for the 2017 season.
Retaining the services of Friday, the WSBL Coach of the Year, and of Ettridge, a two-time SBL Championship & National Coach, was a key priority for the club following the completion of their respective seasons, which delivered two Grand Final appearances.
Wolves CEO Cameron Britt recently met with both Coaches and was impressed with their hunger, positivity and plans to position the club for Championships in 2017.
"I've come to know Craig and Ben well over the course of the season. No one here, and I genuinely mean no one, was more disappointed with our Grand Final defeats than these two individuals" Britt explained.
"Both Craig and Ben are incredible assets to our program, and they drive a culture based upon team-first Basketball, enabling our athletes to get the absolute most from themselves. As an Association, we are thrilled to retain their services for 2017" Britt concluded.
As well as their significant SBL planning, both SBL Head Coaches will be working deeper into the Wolfpack junior WABL ranks this pre-season, supporting the Wolves WABL program and Head Coaches to accelerate the development and opportunity for Joondalup's emerging talent and burgeoning stars.
