Club Statement: Bobby Evans

The Merriwa Tavern and Bistro Joondalup City Wolves have today released MSBL Import Bobby Evans from his playing contract to return home to the USA to be with his newborn son and partner.

Wolfpack Basketball CEO Cameron Britt acknowledged and thanked Bobby for his contribution to the club and identified the challenges that can confront international imports when personal circumstances change.

"Bobby was a popular and high-energy inclusion to our roster this season, playing 12 games and giving us a big body that averaged 8.8pts and 8.3 rebounds".

"All within the Joondalup Wolves program are sad to see him leave our club prematurely, but wish to thank Bobby for his efforts, respecting the difficult decision he has made in returning home to support his young family" Britt said.

The MSBL Wolves play Kalamunda (Away) and East Perth (Home) in a double this weekend, looking to reclaim their top of the standing position, continuing their push for back-to-back Championships.
