The Chambers Franklyn City of Joondalup Wolves are excited to announce the signing of Christian Jurlina for the 2023 NBL1 West season.

Christian Jurlina is a 6’5 all-round basketball professional who comes to The Wolfpack with valuable NBL experience, playing for both the Cairns Taipans and Sydney Kings. A leader on and off the floor, Christian can shoot from range and make plays for others, doing what it takes to give the team a competitive edge. This will be Christians’ second season in the NBL1 West, and we look forward to seeing him in green with The Pack for 2023!

Here’s what Christian had to say about his signing:

“I am absolutely stoked to be a part of the Wolfpack this year. I’ve heard nothing but incredible things about the association and really respect the way the entire club handles their business professionally. The team is stacked with talent and the coaching staff are incredibly knowledgeable. I look forward to helping the club win another championship and will represent the club with pride.”

NBL1 Head Coach David Morrell had this to say about Christians’ signing:

“Christian is a player that became an option for us to add late in the off-season and is an addition we are thrilled to have. He brings NBL level experience and basketball IQ to the team and is a guy who wants to do whatever it takes to win. He is an extremely versatile player can play positions 1-4, adds shooting depth to the team and is a guy who is happy to make plays for others, from day one with us he’s added leadership and presence on the floor.

Christian is 6’5, strong, quick and is excited about any defensive assignment to guard the opposing teams’ top scorer. I am excited to see where we can go, and all the ways Christian adds value to our team as we pursue our goals this year.”

Christian joins teammates CJ Turnage, Jonathan Wade, Bryan Michaels and Gabe Chadinha, Jordan Wellsteed, Ben Geel, Archie Hall, Jermaine Malie, Eddie Maslic, Luca O’Brien, Ioannis Dimakopoulos and Quintin Dove for the 2023 NBL1 West season.
