The Pinjarra Tigers are all set to take on the Waroona Demons in the Peel Football and Netball League’s netball grand final on Friday night.
The Tigers won their way through to the league’s final match with an impressive win over a strong Baldivis unit last Friday night.
Pinjarra was able to outlast the Brumbies for a 44-30 win and move into a clash with the Demons in the league division.
In the reserves it will be South Mandurah going head-to-head with Baldivis, after the Brumbies reserves managed to oust Waroona in the preliminary final.
The open grade will see Pinjarra take on South Mandurah, who won their way through to the grand final with a thrilling five-point win over Baldivis last week.

Peel Football and Netball League netball director Deb Clancy said the grand finals were the culmination of on the most exciting seasons of netball in the league’s short history.
“It’s been really tight across the board this year and I think the grand final games will probably mirror that,” she said.
“The standard of the league has really risen in recent times and it’s a really good quality brand of netball out there on the courts.
“Teams are just getting better and better and grand finals should be some of the best yet.”

Three years into the netball’s affiliation with the football league, Clancy said it was going from strength to strength.
“I think we’ve got seriously good coaches in the competition and they drive a lot of competitiveness through it,” she said.
“The league has also been wonderful in making sure netball is looked after and we have a really good contingent of umpires as well.”
The grand final action kicks off on the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre’s show courts tomorrow night with the open grade starting at 6.15pm.
Reserves are set to follow at 6.45pm with the league game to be played at 8pm.
