Night Series semi-finals place up for grabs

The battle for the remaining three QBE Night Series semi-finals places will be determined this weekend as seven teams try to keep alive their campaigns.
Stirling Lions are the only team to have secured a place in the knockout stages with a 100 percent record from their four Pool B matches. Perth (nine points), Armadale (six) and Sorrento (six) can all claim the other semi-final position.
In Pool A, Inglewood United (nine points), Cockburn City (seven), Bayswater City (six) and Floreat Athena (six) are in the mix for the two semi-finals places.
Inglewood require a point from their match against Perth Glory at Inglewood Stadium on Sunday, while the winner of the clash between Cockburn and Bayswater at Dalmatinac Park on Saturday is likely to progress.
Floreat are not helped by a negative goal difference but they will stay in the competition if they beat Subiaco at Inglewood Stadium on Sunday, as long as Bayswater and Cockburn drew.
Perth will secure a semi-finals berth if they avoid defeat against Balcatta at Dalmatinac Park on Saturday.
If Balcatta spring a surprise, Sorrento, who take on ECU Joondalup at Percy Doyle Reserve on Saturday, and Armadale, who have a tough task against Stirling at the same venue, can sneak into the semis.
