Evans makes debut in Perth win

The goals continue to fly in for Perth SC who scored a 4-0 win over Armadale in the NPL Night Series over the weekend, hot on the heels of Perth's 5-0 victory over Sorrento a week ago.

Perth SC reports that Dean Evans made his debut in a win that flattered the home side.

In other Round 2 Group B matches, Cockburn City edged out Inglewood United 1-0 and ECU Joondalup had a similar win over local rivals Sorrento.

Inglewood United reports that new goalkeeper Aleks Vrteski felt his side deserved more, while ECU coach Dale McCulloch reflected on a good win on the ECU Joondalup site.

In Group A, Balcatta, Stirling and Floreat Athena are all on four points after two rounds. Floreat and Subiaco drew 0-0, Stirling and Balcatta were locked at 2-2 while defending champions Bayswater City beat State League Division One side Shamrock Rovers 3-1.
