Barbas resigns at Athena
Floreat Athena has confirmed first team coach Chris Barbas has resigned from his position effective immediately.
The news came following Floreat's 2-0 loss to Stirling Lions in Rivalry Round.
Barbas will still continue in his role as Floreat's Under 15's NPL coach.
Athena has confirmed Mano Psanoudakis (C Licence) as their new interim first team coach and Glenn Grostate (Senior Licence) as his assistant.
Round 1 of the Cool Ridge Cup kicks off on Saturday and Floreat will host Perth Royals at E&D Litis Stadium with kick-off at 3pm.
