Budweiser will be the main sponsor of this year’s competition, which is also supported by the Tan Siu Lin Foundation and JET Holdings Company.

The league will kick off this Sunday at the Gillette Multipurpose Gymnasium of the TSL Sports Complex at 1pm. A parade of teams will highlight the opening ceremony and league organizers will also be handing awards for Best in Uniform and Best Muse, and raffling off in-kind prizes.

After the opening ceremony, three games will be played in the kick-off day. The open division match is set for 3pm, while the two masters matches are scheduled for 4:30pm and 6pm. The masters division has six teams in Armatech/MDX, Masters Degree/UPAA, Shakir Realty/MAFEA, Blue Haus/SMF, Pacific Islands Club/NMBA, and Erika’s Catering/Samahang Laguna.

Mobil/Bayani leads the open division cast and will be battling seven other teams: AXE Proa/MDX, Hoopaholics/Visminda, KB Market/SIP, Kanoa Resort/MIFICPA, Ladder Beach/Cavite, and Hi-Five/Cabalen.

Games in this year’s UFO caging will be played every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday with the first match set for 6:30pm and the second at 8pm. Opening day games will be determined by draws.

Meanwhile, participating teams are mandated to submit copies of their rosters, players’ registration, BANMI and UFO waiver forms, and signed players/coaches code of conduct. Squads have until today (7pm) to submit the requirements or they will not be able to play this season.
