2013 World University Summer Games EOI
The 2013 WUSG will be held in Kazan, Russia from 6-17 July, 2013. This is a unique multi sport event and is part of the Australia National Team pathway.
Head coach for the women’s team will be Phil Brown and head coach for the men’s team will be Ian Stacker.
To be eligible to participate in the WUSG, male and female athletes must be:
- Australian Citizens;
- Proceeding towards a diploma or higher at TAFE or University;
- If you have graduated from one of the above institutions it must be within 12 months of the upcoming event, i.e. you have graduated after 6 July 2012;
- Be no less than 17 on January 1st in the year of the event and be less than 25 years of age on December 31st in the year of the event; and
- Willing and able to adhere to athlete Eligibility, By-Laws and Anti Doping Policy/Rules.
Interested athletes should complete the expression of interest form below and return it to Basketball Australia by Thursday 31st January 2013.
The cost of attending this event will be covered by Basketball Australia.
