Representative Prizegiving 2016

WWABi will be hosting our 2016 Representative Senior Prizegiving on Wednesday 16 November at the Te Atatu Rugby League Clubrooms from 6.30pm and the Junior Representative Prizegiving will be held on Saturday 19 November from 12.30pm at the Massey YMCA. Come along and celebrate our achievements for the year.more

Girls Got Game Camp

Get ready for the 2017 season and get along to our first Girls Got Game Camp from 14-16 Oct at Epsom Girls Grammar school gym. This camp is targeted at the U15, U17, and U19 age groups for 2017 season.more

Representative Trials for 2017 teams

Trials for the 2017 Representative season will occur in October and November this year. This will allow for teams to be selected and finalised before Christmas and teams to be notified of the 2017 Super Camp (pre-season camp) early in 2017.more

Slam City 3x3 Intermediate tournament 17 Sept

BBNZ in conjunction with Auckland Basketball Services are excited to bring the 3x3 Slam City Cup. This is the second time this event has been presented to the Intermediate (Y7/8) age group and we hope you'll get involved! This is a great one day basketball event for intermediate (Year 7/8) school teams to compete against each other for the chance to become Slam City Champions.more

U15 Nationals results

Congratulations to both U15 Boys and Girls team who competing at National over the school holiday period in Wellington. Both teams had a good but tough week losing in the quarter finals unfortunately. The Girls finished 5th while the Premier boys finished 7th and Boys A team finished 16th. Well done teams!!!more

U17 Nationals - Top 4 for Boys and Girls team

Big congratulations to both our WWABi U17 Boys and Girls team who had a great week at Nationals finishing in the top 4 in NZ. The girls finished 2nd after losing to Waikato in the final while the boys had a great run all week and lost to Canterbury for 4th place.more

Junior Rangers Skill sessions starting Term 3 2016

Junior Rangers Skill sessions will be prepared for players to learn and develop the basics and fundamentals of the game of basketball. These training sessions will further develop players new to the game and/or those aspiring to play at a higher/representative level.more

Lady Hoops Development sessions - 23 June & 7 July

Lady Hoops is starting again on the 23 June and 7 July with 2 introductory sessions to give new members a taste. We want to encourage as many girls/women to come along to play and get better together.

Tai Wynyard commits to Kentucky Wildcats

The Kentucky basketball team will be adding another player to this season's roster. Tai Wynyard, initially a member of the 2016 class, signed his letter of intent Sunday and plans to enroll at UK in December.

"I am officially a Kentucky Wildcat for this season! See you soon BBN," Wynyard Tweeted.

Waitakere West Auckland Basketball are putting in a team for an u11 Development tournament starting in May next month.

Just to let you all know, we have had a change in court allocation for our WEDNESDAY AND MAINLY THE THURSDAY competition. We have also had a team withdraw for the u17 girls competition so please double check your game times. Please ensure you check the draws online as of Tuesday 22nd May as the times for your games or courts may have changed.

If you log into our website: www.wwabi.org.nz then click on LEAGUE FIXTURES/RESULTS tab, you will see a drop down box on the right hand side.
