MESSAGE FROM NETBALL NEW ZEALAND CHIEF EXECUTIVE
I hope you all have had a good week, be it a busy one no doubt for many of you, juggling the return to school and tertiary study for your children, or short week with Anniversary day in Northland, Auckland and Nelson.
With the completion of the Netball New Zealand 2015 Annual Report and Council Meeting communications out today, the NNZ team are looking forward to our weekend together at the end of this month, celebrating our achievements of 2015, along with sharing plans and priorities for 2016. I am sure all Council dinner attendees will get into the spirit of the dinner theme “Show Your True Colours”…. It promises to be another fun filled and action packed evening.
We have just completed two days with the first National CEO Group meeting of the year here at NNZ, with the Zone CEO’s and myself and NNZ team working through an agenda which included:
- Finalising governing documents for the 2016 National Netball League
- Preparation for this year’s ANZ Championship and developments leading into the 2017 season
- The new Digital Netball Administration System
- Community Netball programme updates: including ANZ futureFERNS
- Netball’s High Performance Strategy and the player profiles
Wishing you all a relaxing Waitangi weekend.
Netball New Zealand
