Hi! My name's Holly and i have been a part of The Reporters' Academy for about 6 months now. The Reporters' Academy is a non-for-profit youth organisation that aims to teach young people how to produce industry quality work, gain experience in the field, and better their skills in a wide range of journalism techniques.
This year i have been fortunate enough to be involved in lots of different experiences within the Reporters' Academy, ranging from attending a sports conference ("Sports Without Borders") to writing articles for our local newspaper.
But this event, the South Pacific Games, is by far our biggest task yet.
A team of 27 has set out to report on the Games from Australia and produce an English site all about the Pacific games. We are the only site that are reporting in full English and are very excited about the opportunities that may come form this.
We hope you enjoy cruising around the site, and that you feel you have had an adequate insight into the Pacific Games. If you would like any further information about The Reporters' Academy, jump on to www.thereportersacademy.com and check out all our latest content.
Thanks for reading!
Holly
