NEW Board Directors
The South West Queensland Thunder FC is very pleased to announce that two casual vacancies on our Board of Directors have been filled.
We welcome Mr. Laurie Passante and Mrs. Sue Lister to the Board.
Laurie has a significant background in sporting governance and administration through involvement in both swimming and football, and many people in South West Queensland will know Laurie from his involvement with both the Junior Association and Senior Club in Roma.
Sue has been involved with Club and Representative Football in Toowoomba for many years, and was the Thunder’s Club Spirit Award recipient in 2015. Sue brings experience in volunteer management and fundraising through previous roles as President of a School P&C, and most recently through the coordination of the Thunders Supporters Group.
We look forward to Sue and Laurie’s involvement in planning what we hope to be a terrific season in 2016.
