RAMS represent at 15 Girls National Youth Championships
The recent National Youth Championships were a special time for five of our -15 Rams representing both NSW Country and NSW Metro at the Coffs Harbour held tournament.
Congratulations to winners NSW Country and our Rams Representatives Emma Fattore, Eliza Ammendolia and Jada Mathyssen Whyman!! These girls played some fantastic football and were able to help their side to 3 wins out of 4 group matches to secure the coverted trophy a day early. Along the way they conceded just one goal (well done Jada!) in their only loss and our very own Eliza was named -15 Player of the Tournament.
Playing for Metro were Hannah-Rose Davey and Savanna Greenwood, who placed Third after finishing on 7 points, the same as South Australia, but having scored one less goal. They played some hard fought matches including a 0-1 loss to NSW Country and a 1-1 stalemate against South Australia, doing themselves, their Club and their State team proud. Well done girls.
We're sure these young footballers gained some valuable experience playing against some great teams at these championships, and we hope to see Emma, Eliza, Jada, Hannah-Rose and Savanna on the representative circuit again soon, along with more Macarthur Rams girls. Congratulations again and good luck for the rest of the season.
