Wayne Farrand is on the comeback trail, quietly going about his business goal umpiring to the best of his ability. Statistically, Wayne has umpired the 5th highest amount of games in the Black Diamond Cup for a goal umpire, with 87 and the 6th highest BDAFL matches as a goal umpire with 177.
In 2008 and 2010, Farrand Goal umpired the Under 18's Grand Finals, as well as the Reserve Grade Grand Final in 2009.
After taking a break of 5 years, the Stat Man caught up with Wayne to see how he is travelling and what makes him tick.
It is great to see you back Wayne!
