Good News from the State Election

The ALP election win means that the pledge of $100,000 to upgrade Zebras' Balfe Park training ground can become a reality.

Brunswick MP Jane Garrett and opposition sports spokesman John Eren announced in September that Labor would spend $100,000 to refurbish the change rooms at Balfe Park if it won the state election.

The project will also require funding from Moreland Council.

Brunswick Zebras club officials will be following up the project with Council as soon as possible to bring Balfe Park into use as a much needed match venue to take the pressure off Sumner Park.
