Our most recent initiatives, undertaken during the month of May across the four strategic pillars of:
- Connect more fans with the Newcastle Jets
- Improve the experience of participants
- Build generations of successful National Teams, and
- Lead towards a unity of purpose

I’d also like to take the opportunity to focus on one of these exciting initiatives, being the establishment of a Facilities Unit, to identify and address the ever increasing demand for facilities to effectively cater for the increased growth in our game.
The Facilities Unit is a joint venture between Northern NSW Football and Football NSW. The role of the Unit is to provide advice and assistance to clubs, associations and Zones on any matter relating to facilities development. This includes practical advice on grass field maintenance and lighting, as well as assisting to secure funding or to assist in engaging with Local, State and Federal Government.
