One of the founders of the Dingos in 1996, Paul "Tinks" Tinkler is a six-time Premiership player, winning with the Division 1 squad in 2000, 2003-2005 and with Division 2 team in 2013 and 2015.
The Dingos' longest-serving active player, Tinks has accumulated quite a haul of awards and accolades over the years, including two Stewart Awards, four Leading Goalkicker Awards, and two Steinberg Awards. Tinks currently sits #2 on the All-time games played list, nipping at Chris Buczkowski's heels. On the All-time goals list, he sits third behind Butch and Craig Stewart. From the AFLO, Tinks has been named to the All-Star team on multiple occasions, both as a player and as an umpire.
Tinks also coached the Dingos for three seasons, and is an active member of the team’s Executive, serving as President and more recently as a Director. He is also a Life Member of the club, one of only eleven players who have achieved this distinction.
In 2015, Tinks spearheaded the effort to organize the 20th Anniversary Gala for the club, a hugely successful event. At the Gala, Tinks was named to the Dingos' 20-year All-Star team as Centre HalfBack, a great honour.
